Wow, I've had almost that exact same conversation with several different digital music players that supposedly offer "shuffle" options (iPod, iPod Shuffle, iTunes--wait are all i's really just i's though? I guess their "shuffle" mechanism is probably identical--Sony GigaPanel car stereo, Nomad Jukebox, Windows Media Player, WinAmp, etc., and so on and on and on). I'm much more of a dick though, you are very patient. My conversations go about the same until towards the end where mine lead to tears and restraining orders. I can't tell, was the last "aw" in exasperation or relief? I have a hard time with reading the mood of aws, ahs, and any other variety of sigh-like sound...

  6. My iPod always starts off strong on shuffle, but about 5 songs in, it starts playing what I do not want to hear.
